In the summer of 1985, six teenage beauty queens arrive in the desert for the Miss Happy Camp pageant, only to be swept into a spiralling mystery of murder, betrayal, and VHS blackmail. Satirical and suspenseful, Queens of the Desert explores how beauty, power, and ambition collide, and how corruption always finds a new queen.
