Josie Lang moderates this panel of powerhouse industry leaders, who are paving the way for a more inclusive creative landscape.

 

Josie is joined by Jon-Claire Lee (Director, Sydney Talent Company), TikTok cretor Yasmin Arkinstall, academic and artist Evie Hilliar (@yeevz_), and student creative Will Winter (@willster22579) for an insightful discussion on the intersection of diversity & mental health in the arts.

Join us for an intimate discussion with UTS Media Arts and Production alumnus David Ma, as he shares his remarkable journey since graduating ten years ago.

 

From his early success with the award-winning web series Girt By Fear to his continued evolution as a filmmaker, David will offer insights into his creative process and the challenges of navigating the industry. The session will also feature a screening of one of David's recent short films.

Dr Natalie Krikowa's workshop explores queer stories, queer time, queer joy, and queer hope.

 

Bring your story ideas or outlines to work through issues like heteronormative timelines and hero's journeys.

 

Learn how to craft narratives that resonate with both queer and non-queer audiences, reflecting authentic queer experiences and perspectives.
